How do I reset the change drum message on the printer?

When a drum is changed on the Brother MFC series, the Replace Drum message must be reset or it will continue to display.

Complete the following steps for the MFC-8460N and the MFC-8480DN:

1. Open the toner cartridge door and leave it open.
2. Press the Clear/Back button
3. A message (REPLACE DRUM) will appear on the display. Select YES (Press the SET key).
4. Close the toner cartridge door.

Complete the following steps for the MFC-L5800DW:

1. Press (Settings) > All Settings > Machine Info > Parts Life.
2. Press and hold Drum Life until the machine's display message changes..
3. Press Yes
4. Press (Home).
