Welcome to CDLI!
To get started you will need a CDLI account. Check with your Principal to see if an account has already been created for you. If you need to create an account, please see this tutorial. If you need to reset your password go to my.cdli.ca and click Forgot your password.
When an online class is scheduled, please have your headset (provided to your school by CDLI) plugged into the computer and log in at www.cdli.ca before class commences. Click on Go to Brightspace and then choose your course from the list.
To access your online class from your course homepage, select Zoom.
Then, click the Join link for the session you wish to join.
If this is your first time having an online class, please see this tutorial. You will need to run the audio setup wizard to use your headset to hear and speak in class.

There are additional resources to help you:
- Guidance - contains tools and information to help you throughout High School. Here, you can browse resources on postsecondary education, study tips, scholarships, student wellness, and more. CDLI has a Guidance Counsellor, April Miller, who is here to assist you. She can be contacted by email aprilmiller@nlschools.ca or by phone (709-729-1979).
- Learning Resources – contains course content, interactive videos and reviews of public and final exams.
- Online Tutoring - we provide free online Tutoring available to all students in the province of Newfoundland & Labrador using a virtual classroom.
- Resource Space - a searchable database containing CDLI’s videos and digital resources. It is available to Students and Teachers of Newfoundland & Labrador. You must have an NLSchools email account to view this resource.
