Labster

To add a Labster simulation to your Brightspace course, simply go into your course content and click Add Existing.

Then, click on Labster CA.

The first time you access Labster from within your course, you may need to select your institution. Please select Centre for Distance Learning and Innovation from the pulldown list and click Next.

You can then filter the list of simulations by Subject, Education Level and Language.

With those criteria selected, you can scroll down to see the list of available simulations based on your selections.

Once you have identified the simulation you wish to add, simply click the +Add button on the right-hand side. This will add the necessary information into your course content.

As the Instructor of the course, you will have access to the Lab Report, Lab Manual, Theory and answered/unanswered quiz questions. This replaces the Instructor Dashboard that the previous integration used. You can also play a video to show how the simulation works.

Students will be shown the Learning Objectives and Lab Techniques covered by the simulation as well as a link to read the theory. All students need to do is click on the blue Play button to load the simulation.

The simulation will load and students will simply click the Start button to begin.
