ResourceSpace

ResourceSpace is a searchable database containing CDLI’s videos and digital resources. It is available to Students and Teachers of Newfoundland & Labrador. You must have an NLSchools email account to view this resource.

Getting Started

Login to www.cdli.ca

Under Learning Tools, select Go to ResourceSpace

The ResourceSpace homepage opens.

Below is the Resource view, which contains a preview of the resource and relevant data such as keywords, description, subject and course.

Searching

Simple Search

The simple search panel appears to the right of every screen, giving access to the ResourceSpace search engine. The panel has a text field for quick, free text searching across the library and other search options, such as resource type and date. You can further refine your search and return results that are more accurate by using the Advanced Search feature.

Advanced Search

The Advanced Search can be accessed from the Simple Search form as shown below.

It provides you access to all metadata fields so that you can refine your search.

Once you have completed filling out your form, click the View Results button to continue.

NOTE: As you fill out fields, the number of items on the button will change to represent the number of items that match your search criteria.

Search Results

Search results are displayed as large or small thumbnails or a list in the main work area sorted in order of relevance.
