Create and Edit Audio Content

Complete each of the following

• Download and unzip these sound files.  You will need to use some of them for a later part of this activity.
• Using Audacity and your microphone, read the following quote, capture the audio, and save the file
  
  "Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversations in it, `and what is the use of a book,' thought Alice `without pictures or conversation?'

  So she was considering in her own mind (as well as she could, for the hot day made her feel very sleepy and stupid), whether the pleasure of making a daisy-chain would be worth the trouble of getting up and picking the daisies, when suddenly a White Rabbit with pink eyes ran close by her."
   

• Adding new sound tracks as needed
  • edit the audio by placing paragraph 2 in front of paragraph 1
  • adding sound effects at the beginning, between paragraphs, at the end, and other places you would like to dramatize the narration.
• Save the completed file
• Make a suitable entry in your course portfolio and import the file.
• Publish the entry to your course portfolio web site
