Assigned Activities Step 1

Download and install Audacity

• Click here
• Save the file to your hard drive.  Remember where you saved it.
• Find the file in Windows Explorer and double-click on it to install
• Follow these steps to install
  • The Install Wizard opens.  Click Next
  • The License Agreement opens.  Click Yes
  • The Information window opens.  Click Next
  • The Select Destination Folder window opens.  You need to change the defaults to C:\\My Documents\ Audacity.  To do that
    • double click on C: in the folder window
    • find and double click on My Documents in the folder list
    • Click Next
  • Select Start Menu Folder opens.  Click Next
  • Select Additional Tasks opens.  Select Next
  • Ready to Install opens. Click Install
  • Setup opens.  Click Finish

  That's it.  Audacity is installed.

• Download Manual.  You will need to unzip the manual.  It will produce a folder called audacity-manual.
