In this lesson you will

• learn effective content organization
• develop layouts for multiple-page print documents

Students will

• create and/or organize textual content
• create and acquire visual images appropriate to the content
• apply the elements and principles of visual design to the organization of content in a document layout
• create mock-up sketches of document layout
• apply typographic principles to the presentation of text
• use manual and software techniques to create document layouts
• produce documents complete with copy and graphic elements

Prerequisites

To be successful in this lesson, it would be helpful to know the following:

• All the content in Unit 2, Section 2
• Single page planning techniques
