To be successful in this lesson, it would be helpful to know the following:
- the unit circle, including the exact sines and cosines
- how each point on the unit circle is related to the sine and cosine functions
- transformations and mapping rules
- radian measure
- cofunctions (from Investigation 2, Section 4.1)
- how to find the distance between two points
