Once again, there are two options for the Chapter Project. However, since they are a continuation of those done in Section 4.1, you must select the same option as you chose before. If pairs or small groups were formed to begin the project, they should continue now.
You will once again be using the buildings you constructed in the first part of the Chapter Project. Various materials with which to fill the straws will be required. Some suggestions are sugar, gelatin, water, and flour. You are, however, free to choose other materials as well.
Also, it is recommended that you check out the Web site given in the margin on on page 236. You should find it quite interesting as it allows you to see the destructive forces of nature in action.
The lesson on the Web site you are to visit is self-directed. You will complete a series of activities to learn more about wavelength and frequency.
