What comes to mind when you hear the term "radian measure?" If you feel you have a solid understanding of this concept, its meaning and how to work with it, you may, with permission from your on-line teacher, skip over the Investigation and go directly to the Check Your Understanding questions on pages 215 - 217.
If however, you are unsure of the concept, you will need to proceed through the Investigation. After its completion, you should have a clear understanding of radian measure and the connection between it, angle measure, and the length of an arc on a circle.
