As you can tell, many tangents exist at this point. This is because the function has a sharp corner, as supposed to a smooth curve, at the point (0, 0). Since many tangents are possible at (0, 0), many slopes exist here as well. You should recall that the derivative is the slope of a curve. Thus the derivative at such a point would not be unique.
