In this lesson you will learn

  • derive and apply the power rule

  • use tables and graphs as tools to interpret expressions

Prerequisites

To be successful in this lesson, it would be helpful to know the following:

  • notation for the derivative
  • slope of the tangent
  • the connection between Pascal's Triangle and binomial expansion
  • how to use the formula
