Focus E: Specialized Factoring Techniques

Every time you encounter a cubic polynomial with no constant term, you should instinctively realize that there is a common monomial factor containing the variable x, or any other given variable, that can be removed. This common monomial factor will always give a root of zero. The other two roots will be determined by the resulting quadratic equation.
