Focus C: Solving Quadratic Inequalities

Method1: Step 5

  • A quadratic inequality can be solved using a graph by identifying the part of the graph that satisfies the given condition.
  •  If you are to find where y is greater than zero, the solution will be the
      x-values for which the curve is above the x-axis. 
  • The x-values for which the curve is below the x-axis will be the solution if you are to find where y is less than zero.
