Prerequisites
To be successful in this lesson, it would be helpful to know the following:
- how to find the domain and range of combined functions
- how to multiply two linear functions
- how to find the x and y-intercepts of functions
- how to find the vertex of a quadratic function
- the relationship between the vertex of a quadratic function and its maximum or minimum value
- symmetry as it relates to graphs of quadratic functions
