Investigation 3: Parallel and Perpendicular Lines (GSP Method)
Once you have started to investigate the different positions of the segments, the diagram may get messed up. If it does, to return to the original screen you started with, simply press r. This will restore the screen to the original diagram.
When you are finished with the investigation, simply close the window and you will be returned to this page.
To help make sure the lines are parallel, a pair of corresponding angles are given ( Ð FBG and Ð DJG). The lines will be parallel when you make these angles equal (or as close to equal as the mouse will allow). Simply drag the points as instructed in the interaction to complete the investigation.
