Prerequisites

To be successful in this lesson, it would be helpful to know the following:

• Complementary, supplementary , and vertically opposite angles.
• The definition of perpendicular bisector.
• The meaning of congruency, especially as it applies to triangles.
• How to write deductive proof.
• The Euclidean system of geometry.
