Case studies allow you to apply what was learned in the unit to new situations. They are designed to cover most, if not all, of the outcomes that were stated in each of the previous sections of this unit. There are no new outcomes for this section.
In this section, there are two Case Studies and an Extension which apply the concepts and material that you learned in this unit. However, Case Study 1: Drawing Pictures is recommended only for students in the Mathematics 3205 course. Pick what appears most interesting to you, either Case Study 2: Shaking Hands or the Extension: Annuities, or both, and complete it.
If you have the time and want something more challenging, you might also consider Case Study 1.
Your teacher will give you further directions about how to submit your work and how you will be evaluated on it.
