Lesson

You may work with a partner or work on your own to complete this project. You will require the following materials and formulas to complete the project:

  • a circle of radius 10.0 cm cut from paper or construction paper.
  • a ruler, protractor and compasses.
  • The following formulas:
    circumference of a circle:
    area of a circle:
    volume of a cone: where A represents the area of
    the base
