At the end of Section 02 you created a quadratic function in general form that related the total area of the two gardens to the length of the side of one of the gardens.

You then used the TI83 to draw the graph of the resulting equation and used the TRACE feature to determine the minimum value.

For this part of the Chapter Project, you are asked to convert the equation you derived at the end of Section 02 into the transformational form. You can then use this form to determine the minimum area and the length of the side that gives this minimum area.

You are answering the same question that you answered at the end of Section 02 but you are using a different method of finding the answer.
