CDLI provides courses and programming to students where the programming may not be available at the local school.
We offer educators and students in the province access to web-based objects that support provincial curricular learning outcomes. CDLI also provides free access to course review materials in various courses, plus free "live" online tutoring to students throughout the school year.
CDLI provides resources and services, including:
- Online Tutoring - we offer a free online tutoring service to all students in the province of Newfoundland & Labrador using a virtual classroom. A post-secondary tutor chosen for their expertise in the particular subject area occupies each virtual classroom. Each tutor will be available approximately 5-6 hours per week. To view tutor availability, please view the Tutoring Schedule.
- Learning Resources – contains course content, interactive videos and reviews of public and final exams and course reviews for writing final or supplementary exams.
- Guidance - contains tools and information to help you throughout High School. You can browse resources on postsecondary education, study tips, scholarships, student wellness, and more here. CDLI has a Guidance Counsellor, Janice Rowsell, who is here to assist you. She can be contacted by email at janicerowsell@nlschools.ca or by phone (709-256-3196).
