Mackenzie Tapp - Winner of 3 Dalhousie Scholarships

CDLI is pleased to highlight Mackenzie Tapp, a Level III student at Pasadena Academy who is currently enrolled in Math 3208 and Computer Science 1204 with CDLI.

Mackenzie is a high achieving individual, both academically and within the school community. She is considered an amazing worker who is engaged in her classes and is fueled by curiosity. She recently received the Dalhousie Renewable Entrance Scholarship, the Dalhousie Women in Technology Scholarship and the Dalhousie Entrance Community and Leadership Award, totaling $23,000. Mackenzie demonstrates true leadership in school as Student Council President and a leader in both the Drama Club and the Genders & Sexualities Alliance.

Mackenzie will be attending Dalhousie University in the fall where she will pursue a Bachelor of Computer Science degree. In the future she hopes to work in the technology sector, particularly with artificial intelligence or statistics.
