CDLI is pleased to highlight Antonia Lundrigan, a Level II student who attends St. Lawrence Academy and is currently enrolled in Math 2200, Physics 2204 and Chemistry 2202 with CDLI.
Antonia is an active member of her school and her community. Her most recent academic achievement came at the Labrador, Western and Central Regional Fair where she (along with another student) won gold in the Life Sciences category and Best in Fair. They were also winners of the Sanofi BioGENEius Award, which sponsors a prize for every regional science fair in Canada. Antonio and her partner then went on to represent Newfoundland & Labrador at Nationals.
Antonia is a true team player as demonstrated in her involvement in school leadership teams and sports, such as softball, indoor and outdoor soccer, volleyball, basketball, ball hockey and badminton. This year the school teams have won provincial banners for indoor and outdoor soccer, and ball hockey. Antonia is also the founding member of the leadership committee at St. Lawrence Academy.
Outside of school, Antonia volunteers as often as possible, especially with the PN Unplugged program offered at the Community Youth Center. She also tutors children in the community and is a youth representative on the Community Youth Network Board of Directors.
Upon finishing high school in 2023, Antonia aspires to pursue education and work in the healthcare field.
CDLI would like to congratulate Antonia on all of her accomplishments!
