Instructions for Accessing CDLI Classrooms from a Mobile Device

Connecting to Blackboard Collaborate Classic

1. Download and install the Blackboard Collaborate app from the
   

   or

   
2. Open a web browser (Chrome etc. ) on your mobile device.
3. Go to cdli.ca login with your CDLI account.
4. Select BrightSpace on the CDLI portal page.
5. Navigate to your course.
6. Select Blackboard Collaborate in the top menu.
7. Select Join Session.
   The application on your phone/tablet should start and enter the session.

Note: Make sure the app is not running prior to completing steps 2 and 3.

Connecting to Blackboard Collaborate Ultra

1. Open a web browser on your mobile device (phone, tablet).
2. Go to cdli.ca login with your CDLI account.
3. Select BrightSpace on the CDLI portal page.
4. Navigate to your course.
5. Under the Collaboration menu select Collaborate Ultra.
6. Select Join Meeting Room to enter.
