Bailey Tarrant of Holy Name of Mary Academy Lawn won a $60,000 Schulich Scholarship

Bailey has been awarded the Schulich Scholarship as a Science Leader for Dalhousie. The scholarship is worth $60 000. This program funds 50 undergraduate scholarships each year, across top Canadian universities. Students that receive the scholarship are pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Bailey is a 2016 Schulich leader and scholarship winner!

Bailey attends Holy Name of Mary Academy in Lawn and is taking three CDLI courses. She has attended the Students on Ice Program, shown leadership in humanitarianism, participated in a number of pageants at both the provincial and national levels, and received numerous awards for academics, sports and drama. In fact, the day she was informed of the Schulich scholarship Bailey also won an award for acting at the drama festival. She is a truly phenomenal person.

Bailey is currently completing Calculus 3208, Advanced Math 3200 and Physics 3204 with CDLI.
