Vanguard Royal Canadian Legion Cenotaph

Vanguard, Saskatchewan

The Vanguard Royal Canadian Legion Cenotaph was erected in 1955, in memory of those soldiers killed in action in World War I and World War II. The Cenotaph was constructed on concrete and stone by Ole Stormy. There is an annual wreath-laying ceremony on Remembrance Day at the Cenotaph. The Cenotaph is in good condition and is maintained by Village of Vanguard and volunteers.
