Bethune, Saskatchewan
The Cenotaph was constructed in 1946-47 in memory of Our Fallen Comrades in World War I and World War II.
The wreaths shown in the picture are placed there following a Memorial Service on November 11th each year sponsored by the local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Funds for the construction of the cenotaph were raised by donations from residents of the area as well as volunteer labour. Stone used in the construction were all found near Bethune.
