The Tisdale War Memorial was constructed in memory of men from the district who were killed in action in WWI. The monument was unveiled in 1931 by Mrs. J.B. Sleight who lost three sons in WWI. Fixed to the monument is a brass plaque containing the names of those district members who lost their lives in WWI and WWII.
