![]() Philipsburg War Monument ![]() Rue Montgomery et route No 7, Philipsburg (Missisquoi), Québec. The first monument erected in Philipsburg was built and donated by Missisquoi Marble Ltd.
Mr. J.J. Caron, mason by trade, built the present monument from pieces of marble taken from the old one. The names of the soldiers, airmen, and sailors who were killed during the 1939-1945 conflict were inscribed on the monument along with the names of those killed during the 1914-1918 conflict. |

This stone is placed by the Philipsburg Branch No 82 of the Canadian Legion to commemorate those of this district who served in the forces. |
