Trenton, Commonwealth Gates

CFB, Trenton, Ontario

Constructed after WWII in memory of the Airmen of the Commonwealth Air Training Plan.

This is a false entrance to the base. Used only on ceremonial occasions. Originally incorporated a line of oak trees. Now mostly replaced by maples.

Fuller history should be available at RCAF Museum, Trenton, Ontario (also, information on other monuments associated with the Air Force should be available).
