Toronto WW1 and WW2 Cenotaph

The Cenotaph was erected in memory of those who lost their lives in World War I and World War II. The Cenotaph, designed by Tiny Shaw, was constructed of masonry and bronze. The Cenotaph is located in Little Ave. Park.

The inscription on the Monument reads.

"1914 - 1918"
In the memory of those of
Weston, who made the
supreme sacrifice
And
In honour of those
Who served in the
Great War."

"1939 - 1945"
To the glory of God
In honour of those
who served, and to
the glorious memory
of those who died
in the second
world war"
