Stirling War Memorial

 

 
Stirling, Ontario

This memorial was constructed in 1927 in memory of the fallen in WWI and redicated after WWII 1948.

The memorial was dedicated at a service on 22nd June 1927. The address was given by Brig. Gen. A.E.Ross CMG, who performed the unveiling ceremony. The band of the Hastings & Prince Edward Regt. was in attendance.

The inscription on the Cenotaph reads: THEY GAVE THEIR TO-DAY FOR OUR TOMORROW
