Simcoe Carillon Tower

This memorial is located on the southeast corner of Norfolk Street and Wilson Avenue in Simcoe, Ontario. It was dedicated on June 17th, 1925 in honor of the service men from Norfolk County killed in World War I. The structure is 60 feet in height by 22 feet square. It is constructed of Hagersville limestone and trimmed with carved Indianna stone and is set on a pile foundation. It comprises 23 bells weighing over 8,000 pounds. In 1946, a plaque was added with the names of those killed in World War II.
