Kemptville Veterans Memorial This monument is in Crown Land Kemptville, Ontario. It was constructed in memory of veterans from who lost their lives World War I and World War II. It was unveiled in 1921-1992. On November 2, 1961, the cenotaph was relocated to the front lawn of North Grenville District High School in Kemptville. This move was made possible through the efforts of Branch 212 of the Royal Canadian Legion, the Town of Kemptville, South Gower and Oxford on Rideau Townships.
