The monument was constructed in 1992 in memory of those who served in World War I, World War II, and Korea.
The inscription on the monument reads:
WWI 1914-1918
WWII 1939-1945
Korea 1950-1953
By the glory of almighty God may all who pass
this way, hold sacred in their hearts, the
memories of all those who fought and died,
that all might live in peace and freedom.
