Constructed in 1920 in memory of our patriot dead of WWI from the people of Carleton.

This memorial and the grounds are being cared for by a small park committee in the valley with help from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 167. Approx. 200 people attend the annual Nov. 11 Legion Ceremony followed by refreshments at the Legion.
