The Hearts Delight War Memorial was constructed in memory of those who served and lost their lives in the two World Wars and the Korean Conflict.

The inscription on the War Memorial reads:

Erected by the town of Hearts Delight ~ Islington, and S.U.F. # 6
in memory of those hwo served in both Wars
the Korean Conflict and those who paid the supreme sacrifice

The inscription on the bronze plaque reads:

Erected in memory of those who paid the supreme sacrifice
