The Cross of Sacrifice

The Cross of Sacrifice was constructed in 1923 in memory of the men killed in World War I and later dedicated to the memory of the men killed in World War II.

The Cross of Sacrifice was first placed in the Oak Lake Cemetary. In the late 1930's the Cross was moved to the town park. Another level was added to the cross with the names of those killed in World War II. In 1972 the Cross was moved to it's present location in the yard of the Legion Hall.
