Hamiota War Memorial

The Hamiota War Memorial was constructed in 1922 in memory of the men who lost their lives in World War I. After World War II tributes to those who lost their lives in World War II were included on the War Memorial.

The inscription on the War Memorial reads:

ERECTED
IN HONORED MEMORY OF
THE MEN OF THE
RURAL MUNICIPALITY
AND VILLAGE OF HAMIOTA
WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
AND OF ALL
WHO SERVED FOR
KING AND COUNTRY
DURING THE
1914 GREAT WAR 1918
THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR
- EVERMORE -
