| Transcona, Manitoba
The Transcona Cenotaph located in Memorial Circle Park, was constructed in 1931 in memory of Transcona Residents that did not return from World War I
On the west side of the monument there is a bronze plaque with the following inscription:
"In Remembrance of those who made the Great Sacrifice 1914-1918"
