The Squamish Cenotaph was constructed in memory of Our Honoured Dead 1914-1918 - 1939-1945.
The inscription on the Cenotaph reads

LEST WE FORGET
The Cenotaph is used for the wreath laying ceremonies on Remembrance Day each year. The Cenotaph also is used for the Flag Raising Ceremony each year on July 1.
The Cenotaph is maintained by the Squamish Parks Board.
