Powell River, British Columba

Officially unveiled on Sunday, June 9, 1929, Powell River's memorial was constructed in memory of World War I dead.
Some of those present for the ceremony included Randolph Bruce, Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia, Doctor
Tolmie, Premier of British Columbia, war ace Major D.R. McLaren, representatives of Powell River's Ex-Servicemen's
