Oliver, British Columbia
Constructed in 1948 in memory of the Veterans of World War I, World War II and the
Korean War.
Located in front of the Oliver Town Hall, this stone monument was built by members of
the South Okanagan Land Project. The metal plaque honouring the veterans was supplied by
Branch #97 of the Royal Canadian Legion. The metal plaque lists the names of two World
War I veterans and 25 World War II veterans. In 1995, a plaque was added in memory of
those who died in the Korean War.
