Kettle Valley/Phoenix Cenotaph

Kettle Valley Cenotaph

Phoenix Cenotaph

Kettle Valley Cenotaph
Kettle Valley, British Columba

Constructed in 1924 in memory of those killed in action 1914-1918 and 1939-1945 from Greenwood and district.

As Phoenix is over 4,000' in elevation and, for many years, not accessible on November 11th, a bronze plaque bearing the same names as the Phoenix Cenotaph was mounted on the Cenotaph at Kettle Valley.

Phoenix, is a mining ghost town and only a Cenotaph and graveyard remain.
