Red Deer Memorial Hospital

Red Deer, Alberta

The Red Deer Memorial Hospital was opened in 1904. It was built to commemorate four Red Deer men who lost their lives in the South Afican War. Several additions have been made in later years and the building is now part of the west wing of the Municipal Hospital.

The inscription of the dedication plaque in the Hospital reads.
