Chauvin Cenotaph

 

 
Chauvin, Alberta

The Chauvin Cenotaph was erected in 1958 in memory of the War Veterans of World War I and World War II.

The Cenotaph in Chauvin is on land acquired from C.N. Railways. The construction was promoted by V. Mew and sponsored by the local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. The foundation was laid by Ross Atkins and the monument was constructed of field stone from the local area and split on the site. The Unveiling was in 1958. The site is maintained by the Chauvin Branch, Royal Canadian Legion.

The inscription on the Cenotaph reads:
