Constructed in Aug. 1996, in memory of all those who lost there lives in The Burma Campaign of World War II.

This granite cairn is a halfsize replica of the one erected at Kohima in Burma. The BC branch of the Burma Star Association funded this project and together with BC parks dept look after the site. A memorial service is held each V.J day anniversary.
