Description

This video discusses the two mass extinctions in the Phanerozoic Eon (past 600 million years). One mass extinction occurred at the Permian-Triassic boundary and marked the end of the Paleozoic Era and the second major mass extinction occurred at the Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary which marked the end of the Mesozoic Era.
