Seismic Waves

Description

This video focuses on the different types of seismic waves released as a result of an earthquake. Body waves and surface waves are the two types of seismic waves. Body waves, such as primary and secondary waves travel through the interior of Earth. Love waves and rayleigh waves travel along the surface of Earth. A seismograph is an instrument that detects these seismic waves and this is recorded on a paper recording called a seismogram. A sample question is included at the end.
