Description

This video focuses on the immediate small scale effects within the volcanic area, such as, lahars, poisonous gases, tsunamis and lava flows. Other effects of volcanic eruptions can be devastating on a global scale. Such large scale eruptions can cause a drop in global temperatures, an effect called global cooling.
